Dean DebnamC. Dean Debnam, Chief Executive Officer
Dean Debnam has over 40 years of experience in creating and growing businesses. Since 1971 he has turned ideas into successful businesses and still acts as CEO of several of them. In 1993 he became CEO of Workplace Options, Inc., a business started by his former wife in 1982. Over the years he has transformed Workplace Options from a consultancy and management company, into one of the world’s largest providers of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services and integrated work-life benefits to companies. Dean believes that each one of his businesses informs the other and uses the best practices from each to enhance the other. His diverse background has helped him position Workplace Options as the supplier of choice to EAPs, businesses and third-party vendors around the globe. In addition to his position at Workplace Options, Dean owns and runs three other companies, including the most accurate polling company in America, Public Policy Polling.


Alan KingAlan King, President and Chief Operating Officer
Alan King brings more than 20 years of business development, marketing and operations experience to Workplace Options. Prior to this position, Alan was Vice President of Resource Services for Ceridian’s LifeWorks division, where he oversaw the resource and referral, provider relations, external training, quality and customer service functions. He joined Ceridian in 1998, as a result of its acquisition of Work Family Directions, where he was responsible for resource and referral and central database functions. Alan also served in several senior management positions at Central Maine Power Company, the most recent of which was as Vice President of its international consulting division. Alan holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island.


Mary Ellen GornickMary Ellen Gornick, MA, Senior Vice President of Global Products
Mary Ellen Gornick is a nationally recognized expert in the employee assistance and work-life industry. At Workplace Options, she leads the Global Products and Services Division. Mary Ellen leads strategy on service delivery for EAP, work-life and wellness services in 200 countries. She manages the local service delivery network and assesses Workplace Options’ global expansion and scope of services. Prior to joining Workplace Options, Mary Ellen founded the CPA Group, a nationally recognized work-life consulting and training organization, and is a founding board member and past president of the Alliance of Work-Life Progress/World at Work. She has served as a subject matter expert on the Employee Assistance Professionals Association Work-Life Committee. Mary Ellen earned a master’s degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.


Lisa ZereskiLisa Zereski, Vice President of Global Product and Content Development

Lisa Zereski brings 14 years of relationship management and operations experience to Workplace Options. She and her team are responsible for bringing new products from design to operation – initiating and managing relationships with product partners, and developing print and Web content to support Workplace Options’ services. Lisa draws from a unique combination of creativity and practicality to provide Workplace Options’ signature excellence in product and content development. Under her guidance, Workplace Options will continue to expand the definition of work-life and seek to integrate technology and trends from the mainstream into the work-life industry. Prior to joining Workplace Options, Lisa was the Manager of Ceridian LifeWorks’ Affiliate Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.


Stephanie HastingsStephanie Hastings, Vice President of Training and
Service Quality

Stephanie Hastings is currently responsible for a cross-functional team of service quality managers, quality specialists, web developers, and training coordinators. The team focuses on continuous quality improvements and uses a quality management system that meets ISO 9001:2008 standards. Stephanie and her team manage user satisfaction and quality assurance processes as well as all internal trainings for WPO staff regarding policies/procedures, new client implementations, new internal applications, product launches, and quality improvements. Additionally, she oversees WPO’s Global Learning Solutions (GLS) product and team. With a catalog of over 100 personal & professional development trainings and a network of local trainers, the GLS team provides dynamic external trainings to our clients. Stephanie holds a degree in human development and family studies from Cornell University. She is also a certified Quality Management System Auditor/ ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor. Prior to joining Workplace Options in May of 2003, Stephanie worked as an independent consultant to various employee assistance programs developing training and structure for internal work-life service delivery programs. Her previous WPO responsibilities included overseeing all client/product implementations from 2003-2011.


Jean-Baptiste GruetJean-Baptiste Gruet, Senior Vice President of
Global Business Solutions

Jean-Baptiste (JB) is responsible for Workplace Options’ overall global products sales revenue. He consults with HR professionals and is occasionally a speaker at conferences on relevant global health issues and initiatives. He works in conjunction with Workplace Options Account Management and Business Solutions Teams and our partners around the world to develop sales strategy and identify new business opportunities across all markets. JB brings to Workplace Options 20 years of business development experience in the human resources and support services industry. He joined WPO in 2007 as Vice President of Business Solutions. Prior to joining WPO, he was Director of Global Business Solutions at FGI (now Shepell.fgi), where he played a key leadership role in the evolution of their global EAP, expatriate services and cross-cultural training offerings. Once a co-founder of a language and cultural publication in Paris, France, JB has also lived in London, UK, where he launched his career working for an executive language and training enterprise. Following eight years’ expatriate experience in the US, JB now resides with his family in Toronto, Canada.


Jean-Baptiste GruetLaurie Hudson, Vice President of Business Solutions
Laurie Hudson joined the Workplace Options Business Solutions team in early 2009. Laurie made a very positive impact in sales and was named Workplace Options’ Most Successful Business Solutions Specialist in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She was then promoted to the role of Senior Director, Business Solutions. In June of 2012, Laurie was named Vice President of Business Solutions. In this role she is responsible for cultivating relationships with US Fortune 500 companies as well as working with the US sales team around strategy and market growth. She brings to this position solid knowledge of managing and maintaining regional and national accounts, team building, and the development of global opportunities. She has more than 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing, account management, and customer relations functions. She is a graduate of Robert Morris University.


Karol KosecKarol Kosec, Director of US Account Management
Karol Kosec has over 17 years of experience in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and employee development industry. As Director of US Account Management, she is responsible for supporting a team of account managers based in the US with account growth, retention and exceeding client’s expectations.


In her career, Karol has implemented and managed global EAP and work-life programs in 48 countries for Fortune 500 clients, federal, state and local governments as well as for financial and tech industries. She also has past experience with employee learning and development. In these roles, Karol partnered with individual employees and business leaders to develop and deliver solutions for employee engagement and productivity.


Karol holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from Lesley College and a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin.


Darrell ShipleyDarrell Shipley, Senior Vice President of Global Service Delivery
Darrell Shipley brings more than 15 years of Call Center Management and Operations experience to his role of Senior Vice President of Service Delivery. He has been with Workplace Options for over 10 years and has extensive experience in EAPs and work-life services both domestically and abroad. Darrell is currently responsible for managing Global Service Delivery Operations for all Workplace Office locations. His primary goal is to manage one unified global service center by continually developing the Service Delivery Management staff while instilling the mission of “First Serve the Customer” through excellent customer service. Before assuming his current position, Darrell was in the role the Director of Service Delivery at Workplace Options’ Raleigh Service Center. Darrell has a marketing degree from Pennsylvania State University.


Tim CuthellTim Cuthell, Senior Vice President of Global Account Management

Tim Cuthell is responsible for the account management of our client companies worldwide. He is an acknowledged expert in the EAP field, having spoken on counseling and workplace mental health issues in the national press, broadcast media and industry publications and has chaired professional conferences on Employee Assistance Programs and work-life balance. In addition to his business experience, he has an Advanced Diploma in Counseling and Interpersonal Skills from the University of London.


Clark AdamsClark Adams, Vice President of Strategic Growth

Formerly CEO of Mulberry Child Care, Clark Adams’ responsibility is to develop and negotiate business partnerships between Workplace Options and complementary enterprises within the work-life industry. Such partnerships include acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures and cooperative marketing strategies. While at Mulberry, Clark grew the company from $4 million to $65 million in annual revenue, prior to completing its sale to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in 2001. As an early participant in the development of employee-supportive work environments, Clark was co-founder of Alliance of Work-Life Professionals, the preeminent professional membership organization advocating the advancement of work-life benefits as a critical factor in the continuing improvement of workplace productivity. He has an undergraduate degree from University of Maine and a master's degree from University of Massachusetts.


Clare RobinsonClare Robinson, M.Econ, EEPA, MSc, BA, H.Dip Mgt, EAPA
Director, Global Clinical Services

Clare has gained a vast amount of knowledge of the EAP industry through her tenure with Workplace Options. Before assuming her current position, Clare was in the role of Director of UK/Ireland Service Delivery. She is currently responsible for managing Global clinical operations and service delivery. Clare Graduated with a BA from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2001 and also holds master level qualifications in European, Economic and Public from UCD and a master in Social Science from Trinity College. Following her academic career, Clare worked for the European Commission Employment and Social Affairs Directorate in Brussels where she completed a number of key research programmes funded by the European Union. She has extensive experience of EAPs and work-life services both in Ireland and the UK and also plays a key role in the development of our Global EAP service.


Lynn FetterolfLynn Fetterolf, Senior Advisor to the CEO
Lynn Fetterolf comes to WPO with more than 25 years of experience in employee engagement and health & productivity management services. Today on behalf of WPO – through networking with various external constituencies – Lynn identifies and maintains relationships that fit with WPO's vision and strategies. Prior to joining WPO – Lynn was director of account management for Ceridian’s LifeWorks health and productivity division. While with LifeWorks – she implemented standards of excellence for strategically and pro-actively partnering with customers to exceed business goals; helped enhance the quality of services delivered to both customers and end-users; and, strengthened Ceridian’s reputation as a respected and trusted provider of services in this industry.


Lynn started her career in 1982 working for one of the pioneer work-life organizations at that time, The Partnership Group (TPG). When TPG was acquired by Ceridian in 1997 – Lynn was TPG’s VP of Account Management and a member of the executive team. She is a past Board of Trustee for Corporate Voices for Working Families (2009-2013) and a current member and past board member of the Alliance for Worklife Progress (AWLP). Lynn is well-respected in the worklife field for her expertise and insights, as well as for her willingness to mentor others interested in the field.


Berjin AdibelliBerjin Adibelli, Chief Financial Officer
Berjin Adibelli began her career in finance in 1996 in her home country of Turkey with the Accor Corporation (Edenred). In 2000, she relocated to the United States and worked for a division of Accor Corporate Services, Work Life Benefits, as Accounting Manager and eventually as its Director of Finance. She transitioned to Workplace Options in 2005, and was named its Vice President of Finance. In November of 2011, she assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer.


Berjin AdibelliDr. Frank Addonizio, Vice President of Global Clinical Counseling Services
Dr. Frank Addonizio joined Workplace Options at the close of 2012 and brings extensive experience in behavioral health and management to his role. In this role, he is responsible for managing Global Clinical Counseling Services across all global service centers and ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and high quality clinical services. Previously, Frank practiced for 12 years in a private psychiatric hospital on child, adolescent, and adult inpatient psychiatry units, as well as in an outpatient psychiatric hospitalization program. During this time Frank also provided counseling through the hospital’s EAP services. He has also taught practice, supervision, psychopathology, and management courses at the University of South Carolina and provided clinical supervision for students at the University of Southern California, and holds special interests in mental health and substance abuse issues, interpersonal violence and gender issues, as well as working with couples and families using dialectical behavioral therapy skills, solution focused brief therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Prior to joining WPO, he was a Clinical Director at a community agency in Durham, NC where he provided clinical oversight for the Intensive In-Home Teams and Assertive Community Treatment Team. Frank holds a BA in Psychology from Stockton College in New Jersey and a Master’s degree and PhD in social work from the University of South Carolina. Frank is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist.

Christi Wood, Director of Global Work-Life Services
Christi brings more than seven years of experience with service delivery and operations into her role as Director of Global Work-Life Services. Throughout her time with WPO, Christi has been in the role of Team Lead, Program Manager and Director of Service Performance. With each position, Christi has continued to develop and expand her knowledge of the operational requirements that are essential to meeting our customer’s needs. Christi’s main role is to ensure the consistent delivery of our Work-Life products. Moving into the role of Director of Global Work-Life Services in May 2012, Christi continues to apply her Operational and Work-Life experience to each service center across the globe.


Beth Gay, Director, Global Products
Beth Gay joined Workplace Options in November 2009 as a Daily Living Consultant and later held the Daily Living Team Lead position. She transitioned into the Global Products division in 2010. In her role as Director, Beth works closely with Workplace Options’ Global Service Delivery Partners worldwide to ensure quality services to our clients. She also oversees the ongoing delivery of Global services and training events.


Prior to joining Workplace Options, Beth worked in the higher education and professional translation fields. She holds a Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature from Baylor University.


Amber Gray, Director of Military OneSource Operations
Amber Gray joined Workplace Options in July 2010 as a Tuition Advisory Services Consultant and later moved to Chesapeake, Virginia to join the Military OneSource team as a Financial Consultant. She then became the Financial/Tax Team Lead for both the Chesapeake and Arlington offices and in December 2012 she became the Director of Military OneSource for Workplace Options. She is currently responsible for managing the two Military OneSource locations in Chesapeake and Arlington, Virginia. She had an essential role in the launch of our two Military OneSource service centers and is responsible for the day to day operations of that department. Amber comes from a military family and has first-hand knowledge of challenges facing service members and their families. Her familiarity with the military culture and issues facing service members’ families allows her to quickly respond to their needs and find the best solutions to their problems utilizing military-specific resources. Amber holds a MBA from Duquesne University and a dual undergraduate degree in Marketing and English from East Carolina University.
