Summary

To join our editing department, the applicant must be organized, disciplined, deadline-oriented and able to multi-task. The editor is expected to work with his/her team members and each consultant; therefore, he/she must be able to work with a variety of personalities. The role of an editor is to ensure that the resource and referral consultants provide quality information to our clients.

 

Essential
Job Functions

The editor is responsible for reviewing the consultants’ work for spelling, grammar, consistency, formatting, and adherence to the client’s needs. Our editors work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to meet a two-hour turnaround time for each case reviewed.

 

Minimum
Requirements

Excellent sense of language and grammar

 

An eye for detail.

 

Confidence and resourcefulness.

 

Education

BA Degree (preferably in English, Journalism, or Communication).

 

Language &
Mathematical
Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Fluent in English.
