Consultants work in a service center and must be able to present themselves professionally in telephone conversations with customers, conduct Internet research, work within databases and multitask in a fast-paced environment. All Consultants will be required to research various types of service providers and provide referrals to customers. Referrals must be accurate, appropriate to the customer’s requirements, and completed within strict time and quality standards.

Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply. Bilingual English/Spanish speakers preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 to 5 years of related experience
• U.S. citizenship

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy and familiarity with database environments
• Demonstrated proficiency with Internet research
• Assess the Client’s needs through targeted questioning
• Ability to provide customers with friendly empathetic service and useful information
• Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize regarding crisis versus non-crisis issues
• Background in child and/or eldercare preferred
