Workplace Options Announces Executive Promotions to Reflect Continued Growth

09 March 2006 – Raleigh, NC – Workplace Options, the largest provider of work-life employee benefits in America, announced today the promotion of Alan King to President of the Company.
Mr. King will continue to report to Dean Debnam, who remains CEO and who will assume the position of Chairman of the Board for Workplace Options. Mr. King will also be a member of the Board.
Since Mr. King joined Workplace Options in 2002, he has overseen its strong financial and operational growth and has been the driving force behind the creation of WPO’s many new innovative products and services. As President of Workplace Options, Mr. King will continue to oversee all activities relating to the day-to-day operations of Workplace Options and its sister companies. He will also be responsible for the integration of new business lines and market initiatives, resulting from internal development, partnerships with companies of excellence and through acquisition.

Mr. Debnam has over 30 years experience in the development and leadership of a variety of companies. He took over the reins of Workplace Options in 1993 and as its CEO, has grown Workplace Options into the largest work-life company in America. He will use his extensive knowledge of the business world to focus on the continued strategic development for the Company. His primary responsibility will be to seek out opportunities for partnership and growth, and to continue to increase the company’s share of the union market.
