5 May 2010 – Toronto – Leading work-life and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support provider, Workplace Options, today announced the opening of a new international Service Center in Toronto, ON. The new center will provide professional clinical support to Workplace Options’ growing Canadian customer base, including EAP partners and global businesses with outposts in Canada.
"Since 2002, we have been providing support to our Canadian EAP partners and customers through our Service Center based in Raleigh, N.C.," said Dean Debnam, chief executive officer at Workplace Options. "Due to the growth of our Canadian customer base, it was a logical next step to open a Service Center in Canada. The new center will provide our Canadian customers even greater access to our international network of resources, programs and professionals."
The Canadian Service Center will be Workplace Options’ fourth international call center, linking the company’s robust network of clinicians around the globe for seamless and integrated employee services support.
Workplace Options’ three additional Service Centers are located in Raleigh, N.C., London, England and Dublin, Ireland. Each Service Center representative is fully trained in all aspects of work-life and EAP delivery and has experience in intake and crisis management, clinical assessments, chemical dependency, trauma response and other relevant interventions.
"Our goal is to provide our Canadian customers and business partners with a world class technology and service infrastructure that supports their evolving needs," said Alan King, president and chief operating officer at Workplace Options. "Having access to a 24-hour Service Center allows EAP and work-life inquiries to be immediately addressed by trained mental health and work-life specialists, without delay. And having the specialist understand your culture, language and location first-hand enables them to provide even better support."
Staffed with credentialed clinicians, the Canadian Service Center will provide EAPs with over-flow and after-hours call center support for employee services that address work, personal or family challenges. In addition to 24-hour phone assistance, online support and web-based resources will also be provided. All services will be offered in both French and English.
The new Service Center, to be located at 36 Toronto Street, Suite 502 in Toronto, Ontario will open July 5, 2010.
