Our expert clinical staff provides intake with clinical risk assessment, case management, high-risk call management, work-life services, structured telephonic counseling, and referrals to our network of credentialed clinicians for face-to-face counseling.
A Comprehensive EAP Service
Advantage Total Source provides management of the entire case from start to finish. Callers are screened to determine risk and to ensure that any need for crisis intervention, including calls to emergency services, child and elder protective agencies, and other crisis supports, is handled appropriately.
Additional assistance available includes:
- Unconfirmed referrals to providers in the moment
- Manager consultations
- Pre-authorization for inpatient or outpatient treatment
- Assisting clients in accessing local resources
- Structured telephonic counseling or in-the-moment telephonic support
- Full work-life services to include resource and referral, consultation, and legal and financial
Quality Case Management
Following the initial assessment, the service offers a provider search and confirmed referrals (with three attempts to reach a client to offer referrals); if an initial appointment occurs, a follow-up call is placed with the provider to review clinical needs. Case management services also include a reach-out call to the client to review the initial session, as well as a review of the final session where appropriate. Additional follow-up calls will be based upon allowable EAP sessions. Session authorization is handled according to the EAP customer's requirements.
All case documentation is entered into Workplace Options’ proprietary case management system, TouchStone, which is made available to all Advantage Total Source customers. Created by our in-house development team, TouchStone is the only web-based case management system to combine EAP and work-life data, allowing the entire range of counselors and consultants to work from the same system anytime, anywhere. The system was built on .Net Framework and is accessible on the web with SSL encryption, securing the transmission between server and client application.
Expert Staffing
Our master’s level behavioral health clinicians provide live answer 24 hours per day, seven days per week. They complete an intensive training program and are fully qualified before taking calls. All participate in ongoing training and are fully supervised by licensed clinicians. Our clinicians are experienced in intake and crisis management, clinical assessments, chemical dependency, trauma response, and other relevant interventions. Clinical staff has 24-hour clinical supervision available for call escalation.
