Assistance locating dependent care when regular arrangements are unavailable
Back-Up Care Advantage provides a trusted resource for back-up dependent care. This highly customized, high-quality program is designed for any type of emergency situation when employees' normal child care or adult/elder care arrangements are unavailable for any reason.
Through our partnership with Bright Horizons, the program gives employees access to a national network of quality, licensed child care centers and trained, licensed home health care professionals.
Quality Care Where and When Employees Need It
National child care center network: With a network of quality child care providers, employees can find alternative care near their homes or offices for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, should they face unexpected changes in their regular arrangements. When a child is mildly ill and unable to attend school, or if school is closed, working parents can turn to Back-Up Care Advantage and go to work knowing that their child is in safe, nurturing hands.
In-home adult/elder care: Responsibility for an elderly family member can be overwhelming. When the need arises, employees can tap into a national network of home health care professionals and adult/elder care specialists.
24-hour call center: Dedicated back-up care work-life consultants are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone or web.
High Standards of Care
All Back-Up Care Advantage child care providers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All child care and early education centers available through this national network are either Bright Horizons child care centers, are accredited by NAEYC or meet the established standards of quality for accreditation or state licensing. All home health care professionals are trained and experienced in child care or adult/elder care and meet stringent licensing and credentialing requirements.
