Letter From Dean and Alan
Dear Friends,
2011 has been an exciting year for us so far. Due to our continued growth, we now occupy two buildings at our Raleigh, NC headquarters. Our original space now houses all of our service delivery functions, and our new building is home to our executive offices and administrative services. We are also very proud of our new fitness facility which is enjoyed by all and is a wonderful addition to our wellness initiatives. Workplace Options was named by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the Triangle. We were also named as a finalist by Inc. Magazine in "Top Small Company Workplaces." We are committed to making Workplace Options a wonderful place to work and we are pleased that we continue to attract the best talent. Our Toronto, London, and Dublin service centers are all continuing to grow and thrive. We are currently servicing 26,000,000 employees worldwide, and are providing services to over 20,000 client companies.
In this edition of Your Options, we discuss the significant changes signed into law by President Obama regarding nursing mothers in the workplace. We have been happy to help our customers with these changes with our Advantage Nursing Mother product and our consultation services. We also profile two new important members of our team: Lisa Handy, our Director of Global Training and Outreach, and Melvin Knowling, Lead Clinical Advisor for our Advantage 24 Team. In addition, we feature our iPhone app, the first of its kind in our industry, as well as our Global Assurance services and Absence Tracking Tool.
Please join us on February 28th for the first of our Academy of Global Thought Leadership webinars of 2011. Bradley Googins, Ph.D., from Boston College's Carroll School of Management will be presenting Defining and Creating a Strategic Vision for Corporate Citizenship. Registration details for this thought-provoking webinar are available in this newsletter.
We thank you for your continued support and interest in our company. Please accept our best wishes for 2011 and beyond.
