Headquartered in North Raleigh, Workplace Options provides employee wellbeing solutions for more than 65 million employees in over 200 countries and territories. In addition to providing counseling, work-life and wellness resources on a global scale, Workplace Options is also committed to helping the local community in Raleigh, North Carolina, where the organization has been based since its inception in 1982.

As part of that commitment, Workplace Options recently opened The Wellness Center, a new, co-working business space designed for counselors and coaches in private practice. Located at 2900 Highwoods Boulevard in Raleigh, the Wellness Center provides participating counselors and coaches with private office space, as well as access to group counseling space.

Use of the facility, along with reception and scheduling services, is provided rent free for counselors and coaches who assist Workplace Options in providing global employee wellbeing support and pro bono wellbeing services to members of the Triangle community who are in need.

“Workplace Options has a long history of serving our local community, including partnering with organizations like Triangle Family Services, LGBT Center of Raleigh, and Children’s Home Society of NC,” shares Dean Debnam, Chief Executive Officer at Workplace Options. “What excites us most about this new venture is the opportunity to share our core business strengths, counseling and coaching, with our neighbors in need of support.”

Workplace Options is currently seeking professional counselors and coaches interested in learning more about this unique opportunity. In order to be considered for the program, counselors must be fully licensed clinicians in the state of North Carolina. Coaches must be National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches.

“This is a unique opportunity for counselors and coaches who are interested in building their private practice,” shares Alan King, President and Chief Operating Officer at Workplace Options. “Not only can The Wellness Center help them reach their professional goals, it also gives us an opportunity to meet an important need in the community. It truly is a win-win for everyone involved.”
