Now in its eighth year, the HREC Compensation &amp; Benefits Solution Provider Value Awards are among the most credible and influential recognitions in China\u2019s HR community. The contenders undergo a rigorous 3-month evaluation process, assessed on their contribution to organizational excellence and guided by HREC&#8217;s principles of fairness, transparency, and practicality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>People Meet Purpose Meet Productivity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This honor highlights WPO\u2019s deep commitment to helping individuals and organizations across China and the world achieve greater psychological safety, workplace wellbeing, and employee resilience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Workplace Options, we believe people\u2019s wellbeing drives purpose; and purpose drives productivity,\u201d said Alan King, President and CEO of Workplace Options. \u201cI am proud of our China Service Center for advancing employee assistance and mental health services in China. This award represents our shared belief that every employee deserves access to compassionate and effective care, anytime and anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The results were determined by analyzing verified feedback from 404 certified HR professionals, who conducted a comprehensive evaluation across multiple key dimensions such as market awareness, usage rates, and brand recommendation levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Results <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>400+ HR decision-makers across 20 industries were surveyed; only top-performing providers were short-listed.<\/li>\n<li>WPO scored <strong>60.89 %<\/strong> in overall market awareness versus a 33.17 % participating vendor average.<\/li>\n<li>WPO market penetration rate reached <strong>5.94 %<\/strong>, ahead of the 4.23 % peer mean.<\/li>\n<li>Most importantly, <strong>75 % of current clients stated they would actively recommend WPO to other enterprises\u2014exceeding the 64.42 % industry baseline.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WPO\u2019s recognition demonstrates its long-standing impact in the Chinese market. Since 2016, WPO China Service Center has delivered high-quality, human-centered support through psychological counseling, life and health coaching, and resilience-building programs tailored to local workplace culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helping People Thrive, Anytime and Anywhere<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since opening its China operations, WPO has partnered with leading employers to provide holistic, multi-level wellbeing solutions that combine clinical care with coaching, mindfulness, and education. Employee data collected in the <a href=\"https:\/\/consulting.workplaceoptions.com\/\">WPO Center for Workplace Effectiveness 2025 Psychological Safety Study<\/a>, showed a high rate of anxiety and stress that is related to wanting to perform at highly productive, competitive, and competent levels.<\/p>\n<p>Data compiled by the HR Excellence Center (HREC) to determine the award winners revealed that 98% of participants felt supported, heard, and better equipped to manage personal and professional challenges after engaging with WPO China services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChinese work values are centered on collectivism and building a community, hard work, endurance, and honesty,\u201d said Wynne Wee, Vice President, Service Delivery for WPO Asia Pacific. \u201cWe observed lower rates of workplace issues in China relating to workplace conflicts as the social support systems and efforts to cooperate as a team tend to be stronger than the global average. However, we do see a higher rate of anxiety and stress that is related to wanting to perform at highly productive, competitive, and competent levels. This then relates to perceived discrepancies between the effort they invest in their work versus the compensation, reward, and recognition received.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WPO China partners with clients to address mental health stigma so that employees understand why and how to seek help. WPO and one client co-created a live dialogue series on mental health: featuring both WPO professionals and company leaders. The program promoted awareness and encouraged self-care.
