Raleigh, NC, August 20, 2014 – Today, Workplace Options, the world’s leading employee well-being service provider, announced the addition of a new office in Bangalore, India. The Bangalore office is the company’s 12th global Service Center and its 5th new addition in the past 18 months.
The new Bangalore location will be home to a multi-functional team equipped to handle the growing demand for employee well-being services across India and Asia. Immediately, it becomes Workplace Options’ third largest office behind the company’s global headquarters in Raleigh, N.C., and its London location.
“Over the past decade, there has been a surge of worldwide interest in employee well-being services and nowhere is demand growing faster than in India and Asia,” said Dean Debnam, chief executive officer of Workplace Options. “Businesses now know that emotional, physical and practical support programs for their employees are absolutely vital to success. By adding this team in India, we are better able to serve the clients we have across the region right now, and we instantly add the capacity to grow our business in this part of the world.”
Workplace Options provides localized employee support through clinical counselling and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), employee wellness programs, and work-life services available 24/7 through teams located throughout the world. The Bangalore office includes a fully staffed service center that is already providing support to clients across the region, along with dedicated sales, account management, information technology, and implementation teams.
“Over the past two years, we’ve invested more in our global infrastructure than the rest of the employee well-being industry combined,” Debnam added. “Employers want their people throughout the world to have access to the help they need to be healthy, happy, and engaged. We are one of the few companies in the world that can provide comprehensive support to every employee a company has, anywhere in the world.”
The new Workplace Options office in India joins others in the United Kingdom (London), Ireland (Dublin), Canada (Toronto), Singapore, Panama (Panama City), Japan (Tokyo), Portugal (Lisbon) and the United States (Raleigh, N.C., Chesapeake, Va., Arlington, Va., and Bellevue, Wash.)
Before the end of 2014, Workplace Options is planning to add more locations, including another service centre in Indonesia to support its growth.
“We help employees around the world balance their work, family and personal needs,” said Alan King, president and chief operating officer of Workplace Options. “The companies we work with understand the incredible impact this has on the morale, engagement, and productivity of their workforce – as well as their bottom line.”
