Raleigh, NC, August 20, 2013 – Workplace Options, a global employee effectiveness company and work-life services provider, has earned a position on the 32nd annual Inc. 500|5000 list, which recognizes the fastest growing private companies in America. This marks the third consecutive year that the company appears on the list. Workplace Options is ranked 4443 this year, a jump of more than 400 spots from 2012. Last year, the company ranked 4869.
“We are incredibly honored to be in the company of the organizations on the Inc. 5000,” said Dean Debnam, chief executive officer of Workplace Options. “It’s thanks to our dedicated team and our commitment to providing the best employee effectiveness solutions for our clients that we’ve seen continued growth throughout the past 31 years.”
“The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history,” said Eric Schurenberg, editor in chief of Inc. Magazine. “The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent. Those are results most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years.”
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2012.
