Laura McAtee (She/Her), Employee Engagement Manager and Diversity & Inclusion Specialist at Workplace Options

Laura McAtee (She/Her), Employee Engagement Manager and Diversity & Inclusion Specialist, has been with Workplace Options since 2018. In her role, she develops and implements strategies and programs to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity. She works to create a sense of belonging for all global employees, promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork, and ultimately works towards ensuring all employees feel valued, recognized, and committed to WPO’s purpose.

Kori Hennessey (They/Them), Executive Director, LGBT Center of Raleigh

As the first nonbinary Executive Director of the LGBT Center of Raleigh and one of the very few transgender leaders within Triangle area nonprofits, Kori has been dedicated to creating equitable and affirming opportunities for all. In their role, Kori works alongside a diverse and passionate team to implement programs that include youth and young adult leadership skill building, education and understanding on LGBTQ+ identities, transgender community and resource connections, health equity and access, and so much more. Kori recently became a Goodmon Fellow with Leadership Triangle and completed the Nonprofit Management Program at Duke University in 2022. Previous to their involvement with the LGBT Center of Raleigh, they spent time both exploring their artistic side and working at different agencies focused on education and life skills with children and young adults that live with developmental disabilities. Kori enjoys spending time with their partner, dogs, and friends, finding new foods to try, and putting together a challenging puzzle.
