Bella Amico , Marketing and Events Specialist Intern

Bella is a current student at the University of Rhode Island with a double major in Communications and Public Relations with a concentration in social media and media studies. At WPO, she is a Marketing and Events Specialist Intern where she specializes in article writing, video blog creation, as well as infographic creation. She became interested in mental health awareness since she was a kid due to being diagnosed with common conditions that were not talked about enough. Reading, researching, and learning about it, she quickly realized how important it is to take care of your mental health on top of physical and emotional health conditions. She made it her goal to make sure that mental health is prioritized due to growing up in a world where it is shown as a weakness rather than a strength.
